Description
A fine traditional red sherry vermouth, La Copa is produced from Oloroso and PX soleras over 8 years and a meticulous selection of botanicals, to achieve a bittersweet, aromatic balance. Cola brown in color instead of the more typical bright red, it clearly showcases its sherry underpinnings, with rich, sultry PX sherry dominating. Nutty and redolent with that oxidized “old wine” note, the botanicals are clear on the palate, for a balanced, versatile vermouth. Cinnamon notes are prominent, with gentle waves of bitterness emerging on the long, nutty finish.
