The Whistler Imperial Stout Cask Finish Irish Whiskey

A limited release expression that is a collaboration between Boann Distillery and its sister brewery Boyne Brewhouse. Boyne Brewhouse filled Sherry Hogshead barrels with their award-winning Imperial Stout and left the beer to mature in there for six months. Then once these barrels were emptied, the Whistler Premium Blend was filled into these casks, hence the Imperial Stout Finish. Rich flavours of coffee, chocolate and dried fruits.
