Mar de Frades stands out for its radiant lemon color with seaweed reflections. Its luminous appearance invites you to perceive the aromas of stone fruits, like apricot, and medlar fruit, along with almond flowers and subtle tropical salt notes. All the expressions of Albariño. A wine of saline character, which seduces for its freshness and complexity.
The grapes used to make this Albariño come from Valiñas Finca, a plot planted on terraces and located to the south of Mount Valiñas in the Salnés Valley.
90pts James Suckling- Limey fruit with some white peaches, seashells, and a briny mineral note. Very fresh on the palate with a saline tone to the light white fruit. Quite refreshing with bright acidity. The fruit isn’t too intense but it still has a typically albarino gastronomic allure.
