Description
The dark and very intense color of deep ruby. Ripe aromas of small black fruit dominate (blackcurrant, blackberry), though with good freshness. The palate is fleshy, with a nice touch of tannin. Long, caressing finish. To be watched during aging, which will seek to bring out harmony and balance.
Blend: 50% Merlot, 45% Cabernet Sauvignon, 5% Petit Verdot
93pts James Suckling- A fine, linear red with currants, blackberries, and some chocolate and hazelnuts. Medium to full body. Medium round tannins. Pretty finish.
91pts Wine Enthusiast- From one of the largest estates in the Médoc, this wine is packed with black-currant fruits and elegant tannins. Initially, it seems light, but a core of the structure and classic poise between fruit and tannin make the wine a candidate for aging. Best after 2024.
